Hot Wheels help please!
Hi all,
Does anyone know anything about Hot Wheels? I'm looking to buy some for my little boy but am wondering do they all interconnect and work together?

The smaller sets are ok but the medium to larger sets take so much putting together I stopped buying it I found some of the pieces weak aswell. I don't know if they click together
I would say the same as Snowmoredebt. I don't think the sets are meant to all slot together, although some do. And some that are meant to slot together, don't seem to at all. Hot Wheels are something my children get excited about for half an hour and then end up at the bottom of the toybox, forevermore. If he likes cars what about a junior Scalextric
yes hot wheels do. just a smaller version of scaletrix if you want to see it like that.
My 2 Boys (7 and 4) love Hot Wheels and have asked Santa for some. They have 2 sets already and those sets do connet together, I think most do connect, usually on the back of the boxes it tells you.
the hot wheels annual is in home bargains for 99p...that might explain them a bit
my little girl of 5 loves hot wheels she has a few sets that do work together but 1 that doesnt
I can highly recommend the V Track. Toys R Us were selling them for ?9.99 for the 2 V and ?14.99 for the single track V. Not sure why the 2 V was cheaper as that is for two tracks and more fun when they have friends round. You might not get it in time ordering online, unless they have a pay extra for a specific day before Christmas. It fits on a door, so if you have a cupboard somewhere, my son does in his room that isn't used much that is always good. You can set it up, and just link the track on to the main body when he is ready to use it, or put the whole thing away, it only takes a couple of minutes to put together. My son has had three different hot wheels tracks and this one is by far my favourite in terms of ease putting it together. In answer to your question to fit it together, there tend to be some orange plastic tracks that just slot together, and sometimes some extra bits that fit on to make the set hth
Think tesco was selling a hot wheels track you can attach to a door as a big ramp think it was about 15quid, my ds is nearly 3 but told dh to wait before buying hot wheels as he has enough toys at the moment (think he wanted it more )
